Award to Cristina Calvo

On November 25, a series of renowned personalities will receive an award in commemoration of the “Universal Declaration on Abolishment of Intolerance and Discrimination Based on Personal Convictions”, designed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cult of Argentina, through the Secretary of Cult, Ambassador Guillermo Oliveri. Among them is Cristina Calvo, member of the Focolar Movement, of the International Committee for the Economy of Communion (EoC) CEO of Caritas for Latin America and member of the Latin American Committee of the World Conference of Religions for Peace.

Cristina will be presented with the award in recognition of her commitment and trajectory, both in the country and abroad, regarding the promotion of a plural and inclusive society and for her work towards the construction of peace, dialogue and promotion of undeniable human rights. The ceremony will take place on November 25th, at 6 pm, at the Palacio San Martín, Foreign Office, Arenales and Esmeralda, Buenos Aires.
